The Architects of Golf
"A low-handicap golfer, Carrick competed in many major Canadian national and provincial tournaments.
"A 1981 graduate of the University of Toronto's School of Landscape Architecture, Doug Carrick collaborated on several golf course projects and developed a close working relationship with C.E. "Robbie" Robinson, one of Canada's best known architects.
"In 1985 Carrick established his own practice, but in 1987 he became partners with Robinson in the firm of Robinson and Carrick Ltd."
